These are the terms for using knocktwice.studio and buying from our shop. We've kept them short and in plain English. If something's unclear, email hello@knocktwice.studio and we'll explain.
By using the site or placing an order, you're agreeing to these terms.
Knock Twice Studio is the trade name of Little Business LLC, a New York limited liability company.
In these terms, "we," "us," and "our" mean Knock Twice Studio. "You" means you.
You can browse, read, and shop. Please don't do things that are illegal, that harm the site or other people using it, or that try to break, scrape, or misuse it. We may restrict access if someone's doing any of that.
The site itself, the writing, photography, layout, and design, belongs to us. You're welcome to look at it and share links to it. Please don't copy substantial parts of it for your own commercial use without asking.
When you check out, you're making an offer to buy. We accept that offer, and the contract between us forms, when we actually ship your order and send you a shipping confirmation. Until then, we can decline or cancel the order for any reasonable reason, including:
If we cancel an order you've already paid for, we'll refund you in full to your original payment method.
To place an order, you need to be able to enter into a contract where you live. If you're not old enough to do that on your own, please have a parent or guardian handle the purchase.
All prices are in US dollars and don't include shipping or sales tax, which are added at checkout. We collect New York sales tax where required.
Payments are processed by Shopify Payments. We accept the cards and payment methods shown at checkout. Your card details go directly to Shopify, we never see or store your full card number.
We try hard to get prices right, but if a product is listed at an obviously wrong price (say, $18 instead of $180), we're not obligated to honor it. If you've already paid, we'll cancel the order and refund you in full, and we'll let you know so you can decide whether to reorder at the correct price.
Our products are physical objects made from real materials with real finishes. That means:
If a product arrives damaged or genuinely doesn't match what we showed, that's a different situation — email us and we'll make it right. See our Shipping & Returns policy for how that works.
Shipping options, timing, and our return window are covered in our Shipping & Returns policy, which is part of these terms.
If you have a problem with an order or with the site, please email hello@knocktwice.studio first and give us 30 days to sort it out. Most things get resolved quickly this way, and we'd genuinely rather fix a problem than argue about one.
If we can't work it out informally, any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Kings County, New York, and these terms are governed by New York law. Both of us agree to that jurisdiction.
We stand behind what we sell, and if we mess up an order we'll fix it or refund it. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows:
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that we can't legally waive.
We may update these terms as the business changes. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. For meaningful changes, we'll flag it on the site. Continuing to use the site or place orders after a change means you accept the updated terms.
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce something right away, that's not us giving up the right to enforce it later. These terms are the whole agreement between us about the site and your orders — nothing said in an email or on social media changes them unless we specifically say so in writing.
